Chaining Level Workshop:  

The Chaining workshop is a deeper dive into the fundamental principles and practices of Operant Conditioning and changing animal behavior. Class Objectives: Teach more advanced behavior analytic procedures, plan and implement a student designed training program; develop complex behavioral chains.  A ladder and crossbar apparatus will be provided, and beyond training the birds to traverse this apparatus in a particular fashion students will pick additional behaviors to add to this behavioral chain.

This is a 40 hour course given over 5 consecutive days and is comprised of lectures and hands-on training using Leghorn chickens as a model to explore and apply the concepts presented. 

PREREQUISITE: Completion of both the Cueing and Criteria Workshops.
